“You and I, we’ve got the same blood running through us” said my uncle as he greeted me one afternoon in Christchurch. I was struck by how odd this statement felt – such a physical, visceral description of an intangible relationship. Are we meant to feel something because we have the same blood?
An exhibition of collected objects, sculpture and video, it looks at the notion of family and a search for meaning.
